    #1 Tip - If you do anything while on a socal site like Facebook, remember this: Never Never Never believe anyone who claims they are a Admin, Administrator, Security person, Police, CEO, or in any way associated with the web site and asks for your account's password! Don't give it to them, They are lying!

  • If you dont know the person do not accept a friend request.
  • Remember dont be afraid to un-friend someone who is not acting properly
  • Your friends might share your information without you knowing it
  • Watch what photos or things you post and what others post about you
  • Don't Share your phone number, address or child's name.
  • Mentioning publicly that you are going away for the weekend.
  • Accidentally sharing a screenshot that shows your private information.
  • Someone else might have a security breach (virus, left account logged in).
  • Someone might be tricked or coerced into showing your information as they see it.
  • Human and technical errors can and will occur or some people may hurt you deliberately.
  • Think about your privacy settings. Then use the privacy settings to minimize the possibility of bad things or reduce the damage caused by a breach.
